Citronella Organic Essential Oil 50ml — Latin name Cymbopogon nardus. Part of plant used: dried grass. This oil is steam distilled from the leaves and stems of the Cymbopogon species, especially Cymbopogon nardus.

Citronella is famous as a plant-based insect repellent and a bio-pesticide with a non-toxic mode of action, and has been registered for this use in the USA since 1948. It is also used for excessive perspiration, oily skin and hair, and as a deodorant.
